We all know that social media has become an integral part of our lives. It's one of the easiest ways to get your business out there and seen by millions. We’ve seen a lot of rental property so wanted to give you our 5 tips on making your rental property more ‘Instagrammable’.

Tip #01: Add artificial plants.

Adding artificial plants is a great way to make any space look more inviting — plus, they can’t be killed if you don’t have time to water them. Not only will it brighten up the room, but it will also help to freshen the air. Plus, if you’re using Airbnb, adding plants can also score you some extra points with guests!

Tip #02: Play with light to add character.

String lights over any outdoor tub, deck, or table will make for shareable pictures. Light fixtures can really add character to a room and make it stand out, but playing with natural light in your space will make it more immediately Instagrammable. Try turning off the lights in your home for photos and working just with natural light for a softer look. That’s how magazines do it and you should too! You can also try taking pictures at sunset to get more of that golden hour glow!

Tip #03: Outdoor living spaces.

Whether it’s out by the fire pit, watching a movie outside, a bocce ball court, or even outdoor dining, guests just want to experience the outdoors when staying at an Airbnb. Adding outdoor amenities will give a unique place for them to snap some memorable photos while making memories!

Tip #04: Have that one place in the home that is so photogenic, that everyone will want a picture there.

Whether it’s a packed vintage bookshelf, a neon sign, an outdoor tub with a view, a chair in the desert, a rusted out car… what makes your Airbnb stand out? Make that moment happen, and your listing will start showing up all over social media.

Tip #05: It’s all about the framing

When promoting your Airbnb all over, make sure you include close-ups of interesting items in your Airbnb, play with natural glow at certain hours of the day, and take horizontal photos of living spaces. Sometimes what you cut out of a shot is more important than what’s in it! Also make sure to update your listing’s photos every time a major renovation or addition takes place!

Airbnb has become one of the most popular ways for people to travel. Having a rental property on Airbnb that people want to show off on social media when they check-in is a great way to get seen, organically! Use these tips to make your rental property more 'Instagrammable' and watch the bookings start rolling in!
